UFC on FX: Info and Predictions for Every Fight
In the main event of the evening at UFC on FX, heavy-hitting Melvin Guillard will look to successfully bounce back from his recent defeat to Joe Lauzon. However, as good a grappler and submission artist Miller is, he is put on the ground quite regularly, giving reason to believe he may have trouble taking Guillard down. If Miller can put Guillard on his back, he'll have a chance to take care of him from there. His opponent Jim Miller is also coming off a loss to a Benson Henderson and will look to get back into title contention. When the opening bell rings, Miller will want to avoid standing with Guillard, as it only takes one punch for the the "Young Assassin" to strike. Key Losses: Benson Henderson, Gray Maynard. UFC Record: 9-2. Key Losses: Joe Lauzon, Nate Diaz. Career Record: 29-9-2 (1). Melvin Guillard. If he can't, fans can expect to Guillard's knockout power to play the biggest factor in this lightweight showdown.HTC countersues Apple, asks ITC to halt sales of iPhone, iPod, and ...
In response to the suit Apple filed against HTC in March, HTC is now countersuing, claiming that Apple is infringing on five of its patents. Suffice to say, without HTC - Android wouldn't be where it is today and at the same time, if it wasn't for Google where would HTC be. But what I really want to know is when is an EVO 4G sibling is going to be available on BIG Red. HTC, innovation as well as competition are both needed for a successful mobile phone industry. We're still digging for more details, but the press release mentions that HTC believes the mobile industry should be driven by competition and innovation. Without innovation we would still be talking on huge grey Motorola phones and their would be a billion cell phone companies. But I respectfully disagree with the statement that mobile industry needs to be driven by competition and not innovation. I'd like to know where and why Google hads't stepped up to the plate and go to bat for HTC. I'm not talking sides because I have owned the very best that Apple and HTC as to offer. Sounds like a jab at the whole state of the current US patent process as well as Apple's lawsuit to me. How much (or how little) this will affect consumers remains to be seen, but rest assured that as soon as we know more, you will too....
